Our Story

Madie started throwing clay the same year she got her first pair of cowboy boots — twelve years old, covered in mud, and hooked for life. Every mug that leaves her Fredericksburg studio carries a little of that same wild, stubborn joy.

Questions?

We've Got Answers

Are your mugs food & dishwasher safe?

Every boot mug is fired at cone 6 stoneware temps, making them fully food-safe and lead-free. We do recommend hand-washing to preserve the hand-painted details and keep that glaze looking fresh for years to come.

How long does shipping take?

Because every mug is hand-thrown, carved, and glazed to order right here in Fredericksburg, please allow 2–3 weeks before your order ships. Once it's on its way, domestic delivery typically takes an additional 3–5 business days. Good things take time — we promise it's worth the wait.

How fragile are they?

Stoneware is one of the toughest ceramics around, and these mugs are built to be used hard every single day — not perched on a shelf. That said, avoid sudden temperature swings like pouring boiling liquid into a cold mug straight from the cabinet, and they'll last you decades.

Do you ship outside of Texas?

Yes! We ship all over the world.

  • "Worth Every Penny"

I wasn't sure ordering online was the right call for something so handmade — until it arrived. The craftsmanship is extraordinary. The boot shape is detailed, the glaze is rich, and holding it every morning genuinely makes me smile. An heirloom in the making.

  • "The Perfect Gift"

Bought three as Christmas gifts for my sisters and they were the undisputed hit of the holiday. Everyone wanted to know where they came from. Already planning my next order for birthdays. Madie, you're a genius.

  • "My Morning Ritual Changed"

Coffee tastes better in a boot. I don't know how to explain it, but it just does. The Prairie Rose mug sits on my desk all day and strangers in video calls ask about it constantly. Pure joy in ceramic form.
